Hint: Non-conventional sources of energy that are continuously recycled by Natural processes. These sources are also known as alternative energy sources. Non-conventional sources of energy are alternatives to fossil fuels.
Complete Step by Step answer: Non-conventional energy sources. that are continuously recycled by Natural processes. The characteristics of non-conventional energy sources are -
These resources are renewable.
These are eco friendly in nature.
These do not increase pollution.
There are numerous forms of renewable energy-
Solar Energy: Solar energy is the main source of renewable energy which is easily and freely available to us. Solar energy is utilised in two different ways. First as solar thermal way, second solar photovoltaic way.
Wind Energy: Wind energy is produced by using the wind power to produce Electricity. Electricity is produced by turbines.
Bio Energy: Bio energy produces the electricity from the wastes of the wood industry, agricultural crops and household wastes.
Hydro Energy: Hydro energy produces electricity when the water is stored in a dam and then thrown rapidly on turbines.
Tidal Energy: Tidal energy is generated by tides. Dam is made in an estuary and coming and going water is stored for driving the turbines.
Ocean Energy: Ocean energy is generated by ocean waves, tides, by thermal heat which is stored in the Ocean. Ocean Energy provides a good amount of new renewable and reliable energy all around the planet.
Note: The conventional sources of energy are fossil fuel, CNG, coal, oil, natural gas. The conventional sources of energy are non renewable by any natural process.
