Hint: Many researchers have been carried out by scientists to study the personality of an individual. According to their surveys, children inherit their parent’s physical attributes or characteristics. Individuals have five following traits – openness to experience, conscientiousness, extraversion and introversion agreeableness and finally neuroticism.

Personality can be generally defined as the set of behaviours, characteristics, thoughts and attitudes, habits and expressive patterns evolved from genetic and environmental factors. The term Personality derived from a Greek word which means to a mask. Personality traits imply consistency and stability.
