Hint: Like the name suggests, forced vibrations are due to the external forces. These vibrations will get transferred from the source to the surroundings. That’s why we are getting shivering when we touch a washing machine during its working.

Due to the external force, the body does not vibrate with its own natural frequency, but it vibrates with the frequency generated by the applied external force. We can take washing machines as an example for forced vibrations. Electric motors or rotating machines still have some imbalance even after the rectification.
