Goswami Tulsidas our Tulsidas was a saint and renewed poet devoted to the lord rama deity. The birthplace of Tulsidas was Rambola, commonly known as Rajapur a town of Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh on 13 August 1497 and died at Varanasi Uttar Pradesh on August 1623. He spent most of his life in Faizabad and Varanasi. On the name of Tulsidas, one of the Ghats on Ganga River in Varanasi is named Tulsi Ghat. When was Tulsidas widely considered? Six major and Six minor works of Tulsidas are known as Awadhi work and Braja work. In Awadhi’s work, Baravi Ramayan, Janaki Mangla, Ramcharitmanas, Ramlala Nahachhu, and Ramagya Prashan came. In Braja’s work Krishna Gitavali, Dohavali, Vinya Patrika, Sahitya Patrika, Sandipani, and Gitavali came. According to the Tulsidas in the starting of Ramacharitmans, his work was in accordance with the scripture like Puranas, Upvedas, Tantra, Smriti, and Vedas.
