Hint:Systems: It is any parts of the universe, which is under observation or being studied. If you want to conduct an experiment in flask, then for youth at flask will be a system. The system is observed for its temperature and pressure conditions.

Complete step by step answer:
In order to answer this question, we will first study about thermodynamic system
-The system is subject to surrounding factors such as air temperature and pressure. If we want to
study the thermodynamics of the system, we will study about the heat exchange between it and
environment surrounding it.
-On the basis of exchanging criteria of heat and matter, thermodynamics systems are of three types.
First we will study about open system;
-Open system is defined as system in which there is exchange of both matter and energy with the
surrounding.
For example boiling water above its boiling point without covering the container. This helps the heat
generated to escape into the surrounding and there is transfer of matter in the form of vapours to
the surrounding.
-On the other hand, closed system is defined as the system which allows only heat to transfer but
restricts the moments of matter between the system and the surrounding. Example: Burner
transferring its heat to the vessel kept above it. It allows the transfer of energy only, not allowing
matter to be transferred.
-Isolated Systems
This system completely restricts any kind of transfer nor of heat neither of matter. From the
system matter is not exchanged and also the heat transfer takes place. Example: A thermo flask,
which do not allow exchange of matter as well as energy.
Thus the correct option is C.

Note:
Non-thermodynamic systems only deals with physical systems that do not have thermodynamic
equilibrium, and to describe them non equilibrium state variables are used. There is no equilibrium
attained here in case of matter or energy.
