After the transcription of DNA to RNA the translation process starts in which the first step is ‘Initiation’ involving the ribosome that gathers around the targeted mRNA(messenger RNA). At the start codon first tRNA is attached. Now the second stage starts called ‘Elongation’ where tRNA at the start codon transfers an amino acid to the tRNA which corresponds to the former one to the next codon.
