Complete answer:
Anything which can be used to satisfy your needs and is accessible is called a resource. It is a feasible and culturally acceptable resource.A resource is a source which benefits. some of the resources are materials, money, services, staff etc. They are transformed in order to produce benefit. It may be available to consumers in between processes. Humans have unlimited wants and needs but resources are limited. There are different types of natural resources. The things that naturally present on earth are natural resources.Elements that are available to humans but they are not useful to us yet to discover their real power are called potential resources. for example solar and wind energy. The resources which have been developed and discovered by humans over a long time are called developed resources for example water fossil fuels minerals plants and animals .There are some some resources present in nature but we are not able to utilise them or we don't have the technology to develop them ,these are called stock resources for example hydrogen and oxygen gases which can be used as a source of energy but we do not know how.
Note:Any life that is present in nature is a biotic resource like humans, animals, plants etc. Renewable and nonrenewable resources. Renewable resources are resources which can renew themselves. When humans use natural things to make something new so that some value could be provided to our lives it is called man made resources for example wood, cement and sand.
