Hint: We will study each option in detail in order to identify the properties and what are the types of these substances. There are four substances mentioned here that all are very basic entities of chemistry. We use them very often in chemical experiments.
Complete answer:
Let’s talk about the first option which is the solution. We should know first what a solution is, Solution is a Homogeneous mixture of two or more substances in which particles have a very small size. Solution is generally made up of two substances: solute and solvent. Solution is of different types
Unsaturated solution: It is a solution which has the ability to dissolve more solute in it at given temperature.
Saturated Solution: It is a solution which does not have the ability to dissolve more solute in it at given temperature.
Supersaturated solution: It is a solution which has a large amount of solute in it at a given temperature when it is reduced it crystallizes.
Aqueous Solution: when a solution is dissolved in water it is called an aqueous solution.
Non-Aqueous Solution: When a solute is dissolved in other solvents except water it is called non-aqueous solution.
Homogeneous Solution: It is a solution in which solute and solvent and properties are in uniform composition.
Heterogeneous Solution: It is a solution in which solute solvent and properties are in non-uniform composition.
Note:
There are two more types of solution: Dilute and Concentrated solution. Dilute solution has large amount of solvent and small amount of solute. Concentrated Solution has a large amount of solute dissolved in a small amount of solvent.
Solute is a substance that is dissolved in a solution. In general solutions, the amount solute is less than solvent.
Solvent is a substance that dissolves a solute to form a solution. its quantity generally is more than solute in solution.
Emulsion is the mixture made of two or more types of liquids which are distributed in the solution.
From the observation of these substances, we can say the answer is option (A).
