Hint: Cell is the smallest and most basic structural and functional unit of life and the human body. A single cell can perform functions to sustain its own life but many cells have to come together to perform a particular function for a multicellular organism.

Complete answer:
A single cell is often a complete organism. Broadly there are 2 types of cells - Prokaryotic cell and Eukaryotic cell. Prokaryotic cells are found as unicellular organisms, they do not work in groups. On the other hand, Eukaryotic cells occur unicellular or may form groups to work together in complex multicellular organisms.

When cells come together to perform a particular function, they form a "Tissue". Thus, tissue is defined as a group of structurally and functionally similar cells working together to perform a function as a whole. For example- Muscle Tissue.

Further, different tissues come together to form an organ. For example, the heart contains muscle tissue that contracts to pump blood, fibrous tissue that makes up the heart valves, and some special cells for impulse conduction. Some organs perform different functions but work in a similar direction of goal to make an organ system. For example, the oesophagus, stomach, intestines, liver all together form the digestive system. All the organ systems together make up the human body.

Note: The human body consists of 4 basic tissues-
1. Connective tissue: Function- Binding, support, transport, insulation.
2. Nervous tissue: It is present in the nervous system of the body, it conducts electric impulses and help in control and coordination.
3. Epithelial tissue: Function- Form the covering of all body surfaces, line body cavities and hollow organs, and are the major tissue in glads.
4. Muscle tissue: Movement is the main function of muscular tissue.
