Hint: Practically we have seen this experiment, take one transparent glass which is filled with water, and add one drop of ink in it and just observe it. The ink particle moves the entire quantity of water molecules and mixes to make the color bluish of whole water.

Complete answer:
When a drop of ink added into the water gradually moves in the whole quantity of water due to this entire water turns into blue color. This is nothing but the diffusion of ink particles into the water molecules. This is because water, as well as ink molecules, are in random motion due to the motion of ink substance. We can say blue colored particles of the ink mix all over and give blue color to the water.
On the basis of the above explanation, we chose option D as a correct answer. In the D option motioned motion of substance in a molecule. Thus we can understand the motion of ink substance in water molecules.

Additional information:
If we compare the ink particles to the honey, then ink particles will spread faster as compared to honey because the density of honey is more than that of ink. Hence ink particles diffuse faster as compared to honey particles.

Note:
In this experiment the diffusion process takes place between the particles of ink and water. Due to the motion of molecules of ink in water, means ink moves around the water and slowly mixes with water. This question may ask in a different way instead of ink they gave Honey or oil then we have to analyze accordingly.
