A car runs $16$ km using $1$ litre of petrol . How much distance will it cover using $2\dfrac{3}{4}$ litres of petrol?

It is given in the question that the car will travel $16$ km using $1$ litre of petrol .
So in the question it is asked how much time it should take to cover $2\dfrac{3}{4}$ litres of petrol .
or $2\dfrac{3}{4}$ litres of petrol also will return as $\dfrac{{4 \times 2 + 3}}{4}$= $\dfrac{{11}}{4}$ litres.
So for the $\dfrac{{11}}{4}$ litres of petrol it will travel is $16 \times \dfrac{{11}}{4}$
As in this numerator multiply by numerator and denominator by denominator.

Hence it is equal to
