Hint:Evangelista Torricelli is considered as the inventor of Barometer . In Florence, Italy, it was invented first . It was developed in the year 1644. This invention has many uses and due to which it is used for weather monitoring and prediction.

Complete answer:
Barometer is considered as a scientific instrument. It is used for the purpose of measuring the pressure of air in a certain environment. Due to the pressure tendency, there can be short changes in the weather. It can be used to measure altitude. Mercury and Aneroid are two types of main Barometer. The wrapped air around the Earth has weight and everything that touches is pressed against due to the gravitational force of Earth. This pressure is measured by Barometer. The indicator of weather is the atmospheric pressure. The weather is affected by change in air pressure as well as change in atmosphere. Barometer is used by meteorologists in order to predict changes in the weather for the short term.

Low pressure system is the drop in the atmospheric pressure. Due to the increase in pressure of the atmosphere the clouds and rains are pushed out. In order to measure atmospheric pressure in units called atmospheres or bars , Barometer is used. The unit of measurement is equal to pressure of air experienced in sea level. It is about 15 degree Celsius in temperature. With the increase in altitude, there is a drop in the atmosphere since there is low air density and less pressure is exerted. Barometers need to be adjusted as per the change in altitude in order to make accurate pressure of atmospheric readings.
