Madhya Pradesh Board (MPBSE) Last 5 Previous Year Question Papers for Class 10 Social Science

Social Science is a subject that comprises other subjects as well like - History, Civics and Geography.

This social science subject is for Class 10 students under the MP board. The marks that will be secured in this subject will add to marks to the overall percentage in the board exam of a student. To get a brief sketch of the question paper pattern, the students are suggested to solve the past 5 years question papers of Social Science.

Solving the previous year’s question papers will give the students an example of a replica of the question paper that they are going to solve in the exam hall. This will build confidence among the students, also by solving these papers, the students will get to know the pattern which is to be followed by the board, in this way they can analyze what questions can come in their exam.

Study Checklist

1. Social Science has the following subjects – History, Civics, and Geography. Students are required to sync their study with the set guidelines and syllabus of the board, this will help the students to stay aware of the weightage in each subject and in each chapter about how marks are allotted.

2. Individually all these three subjects are to be studied.

3. For History, the students are required to study in detail.

4. Civics is filled with legal and political terms, hence a student must have a clear understanding of the various terms.

5. In geography the students are suggested to take points on important chapters, they also can form their notes or take help from us. We in Vedantu prepare study notes for the students.

6. Students should firstly gain concepts in the study.

7. Facing difficulty in the particular subject or chapters they should seek help from their teachers or mentors.

8. The students should also practice writing and map pointing in geography.

9. They must refer to the previous year’s questions as mentioned here.

Preparation Checklist

The students appearing for the MPBSE class 10 social science paper, are required to bear few things in their mind, before entering into the examination hall. The preparation checklist is provided below.

1. Students need to have a strong and confident approach towards their preparation and finally enjoy the revision with this question paper.

2. To gain an even hold on the exam, students should refer to the past year’s papers to grasp the question base strongly. An obvious practice.

3. Practice and learning go together. They should do both.

4. With the given question paper the students also can evaluate their efficiency in the social science paper. If they are not satisfied with their performance they can revise again.

The MPBSE is a governmental board set up by the government of Madhya Pradesh. This is an established body responsible for determining the policy-related, administrative, cognitive, and all intellectual direction of the state's higher educational system, they provide affiliation to schools under the state of Madhya Pradesh. They conduct three main examinations and the High School Certificate Examination of Standard X is one of the conducted exams.
