I had the misfortune of witnessing an awful road accident between a bus and a scooterist near Nalband Chauraha at Agra. While coming back from summer holidays our car was loaded with people and luggage. The traffic was moving very slow. The road was crowded with Lorries and holiday goers. Suddenly we heard a loud noise of tyres screeching on the road and the traffic halted. I managed to get out of the car and looked at people rushing towards the round-about. Since the traffic came to a halt, there was chaos and commotion everywhere. Within minutes, the control room van rushed to the spot. A scooterist was over –run by a bus, the driver was in a hurry to overtake the scooterist. The scooterist was injured and was bleeding profusely. He was immediately whisked to the hospital, while the bus driver was taken into police custody. No bus passengers were hurt. As the traffic came to a halt, the jam near the road increased causing a lot of inconvenience to the people.
Note:You have to compile and record all the facts and prepare to file an accident report.
You should be able to evaluate the sequence of events based on the evidence. Describe this sequence in detail in your paper, a detailed review of the causes of the accident should be included in your report.
