Gurjar later wrote the verses of the play. Sindhu Balgandharva was to be performed in this play, so there was no dispute that the play was to be performed as per the customs of the time given. It is said that Gadkari had told Narayanrao Rajhans that he would make you wear torn clothes. After hearing the story of this play, Bal Gandharva had replied that he was ready to work for such a role with all dedication.
