Hint Magnetism is of many types. One such type is ferromagnetism. It is the strongest type of magnetism. Ferromagnetic materials will have a spontaneous magnetization. It will possess magnetic properties even in the absence of a magnetic field. Ferromagnetic materials have lots of properties, here we have to give three properties.
Complete Step by step solution
In ferromagnetic materials, the atoms will have a permanent dipole moment.
The dipole moments of the atoms in ferromagnetic materials will align in the same direction as the external magnetic field.
The magnetization intensity will be a positive value and it will be very large.
Additional Information
The magnetic flux density of ferromagnetic materials will be very large and positive. The density of magnetic flux lines will be very high inside ferromagnetic materials. In ferromagnetic materials, the relative permeability will also be very high. It will linearly increase with the magnetizing field. In non-uniform magnetic fields, the ferromagnetic materials tend to stick at the poles, where the magnetic field is stronger. When liquefied, the ferromagnetic field will lose its ferromagnetic properties, this is because of the increase in temperature.
Note
Other properties of ferromagnetic materials are the following:
The magnetic susceptibility of ferromagnetic materials will be positive. It will also be a large value. (Magnetic susceptibility is the ratio of the intensity of magnetization to the strength of the applied magnetic field)
The magnetic dipole moment will be a very large value and it will be in the direction of the applied magnetic field.
