Hint: Water is found in a variety of places, ranging from where It is found in maximum quantity, i.e the oceans, to the water vapor that is present all around us.

Complete answer:
Water is present all around us. It has the formula of ${{H}_{2}}O$ and has a molar mass of 18 grams per mole. Now, the earth is called the blue planet because most of it is blue and the reason for the blue color accounts for the presence of 71 percent of water which covers it. Out of this 71 percent, the oceans hold about 96 percent of the water. Hence, oceans are the places where water is found in abundance. However, that water contains a lot of minerals and salt and hence is unfit for drinking purposes. The water in the seas originates from the ice-covered glaciers high up in the mountains. After the glaciers melt, they fall down in streams and form rivers and lakes.
- This is fresh water and can be consumed by humans and are rich in minerals. Once the water flows down, a maximum portion of it merges with the seas and the other part of this water gets stored underground, in the soil. This water is then extracted using tube wells and machine water pumps.
- However, water is also present all around us and this is the form of water we cannot see with our naked eyes. Water is also present in the atmosphere as water vapor and this water vapor is essential for all living organisms for hydration. These are typically the main sources of water on earth.

Note: It is to be noted that as we go high up in the atmosphere, then as the pressure decreases, the possibility of getting water vapor also decreases. Water vapor is maximum at sea level.
