- Assimilation is the ability of pollutants to be absorbed by the environment and does not show detrimental effects to the environment. The waste products are the unwanted and unusable products that are found in our home and industries that are discarded in the garbage.
- Among these wastes, some waste is non-biodegradable products that get absorbed by the environment and cause very adverse effects. The inefficient waste management by the municipal cooperation create negative impact in environment like water pollution, air pollution, and soil pollution, it also involves obstruction of drains and damage to biodiversity.
- Now, natural resources are very important for human life and overuse of resources may result in many effects on the environment. The non-renewable natural resources like coals, minerals, etc if used without any limit there will be a day when we left with no resources and then the lifestyle gets very difficult to manage.

The nutrient pollution that is the phosphate and nitrates are the major pollutants of freshwater. These pollutants are formed from the fertilizers and the farm wastes.
