First is $C{H_3} - C{H_2} - C{H_2} - C{H_3}$, in this compound the chain is having 4 carbons so we will use but in starting of the name. Now as the compound is alkane or we can say is unsaturated and having no substituent group attached to it, so we will take –ane to be the suffix. Second is $C{H_3} - C{H_2} - COOH$, in this compound there is a carboxyl group attached to it. And Carboxylic acids are named by counting the number of carbons in the longest continuous chain including the carboxyl group and by replacing the suffix -ane of the corresponding alkane with -enoic acid.
