A home needs a lot of attention to be able to keep functioning. For example, cleaning the house, cooking meals to eat, washing clothes to wear clean clothes, doing the dishes, fixing anything that needs repair etc. Such chores shall be distributed among the people who live together for the ease of sharing the workload. This lifestyle of doing chores is not induced suddenly in a person. It needs to be in habits. Therefore, one should give children chores at home to make them habituated towards these responsibilities and make them aware of their roles in the house. These chores should be equally distributed among children, with keeping in mind, their age and capacity. We should never ever induce discrimination based on gender, and there should not exist any gender role. For example, one’s son and daughter, both should be a part of doing chores at home depending upon their age.
