The days of only wealthy men being able to afford luxuries are long gone. Science has reduced their cost and made them available to all. Science has produced products that have a wide demand. In any market, these are sold at low prices. Books, music, and other types of entertainment have been delivered to our doorstep. Radio, television, and cinema help us pass the time while also educating us.

 Science is our most dependable medical companion. It demonstrates utmost concern for our welfare. Many illnesses have been healed by science. It has provided us the ability to control epidemics. Smallpox, cholera, and plague are no longer the scourges of mankind. Science has given us the ability to destroy the germs that cause these diseases. Today, there are few diseases that can be classified as incurable.

Once upon a time, an evening at a local party, song, or puppet show was the norm; now, we tend to spend the evening at a cinema or in front of a television screen. Because of the advent of television and moving pictures, this transition has been possible.

Agriculture, water supplies, energy requirements, and medicine are no longer reliant on traditional methods. Growing crops, producing power, and curing many complex diseases have all become much easier as a result of modern inventions and innovations. New implements, drugs, and methods have increased the efficiency of agriculture, power generation, and medical care. Science teaches us in a variety of ways. Large printing presses produce a large number of books at low cost. News is brought to us from all over the world through newspapers, radios, and television.

However, technology has done humanity a great disservice in the field of armaments. Weapons of mass destruction, nuclear weapons, and advanced armament have put our lives in danger and threaten to destroy the planet.
