To,
The Secretary,
Society for the Prevention of Cruelty towards Animals
Chennai
Subject- Cruelty towards animals
Dear Sir/Ma’am,
I am Riya, and I am writing this letter to raise the attention of the readers regarding the cruelty towards animals, through the columns of your esteemed newspaper.
Animals in general, unless reversed by a section of the society, do not find any respect in our society. They are treated without any care and their health is not considered. In some areas, while methods such as sterilization are conducted extensively, damaging the population of animals, in other places, they are left without any treatment, causing trouble to both them as well as the people living nearby. The street animals are rampant, though we have many governments established shelters to care for them. In every metropolitan city, the rights of people are given consideration, but that of animals is not even considered.
Hence, I request the authorities to take a look into this and find an appropriate measure to grant these animals with the rights that they are entitled to.
Yours Sincerely,
Riya
