Subject- Issue of reckless driving
Respected Sir,
Through the column of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of the readers towards the issue of reckless driving in my locality. A large number of youngsters promote rash and reckless driving while showing off their expensive automobiles.
Recently, a teenage boy was involved in a deadly accident caused by his reckless driving. I, personally, have witnessed several incidents of reckless driving. Many young children are playing and elderly people are walking on the streets when these reckless drivers pass by without even noticing their environment.
I request you to urge the government and the traffic police to take severe action and implement strict laws on reckless driving.
I will be utterly grateful for your support.
Yours faithfully

Note: Keep in mind, one needs to maintain a formal language while writing a letter to the editor. Also, the subject of your letter should not exceed more than one line.
