This means that we can move the decimal point towards right by ‘p’ places and multiply the new number by ${{10}^{-p}}$.We also must keep in mind that the number N must between less than 10 and greater than 1. Therefore, we shall move the decimal point towards right by 2 decimal places so that the new number can be written as 2 and then we shall multiply the new number by ${{10}^{-2}}$.With this, the number 0.07 can be written as $2\times {{10}^{-2}}$.
