So, both of them decided to hold a bet, according to which the Lawyer would stay in confinement for 15 years, and if he is able to do so, the Banker would reward him with two million. As time passed; The Lawyer read numerous books, played the piano, ate food and slept most of the time. He even experienced emotions of sadness and loneliness, as he was completely isolated and separated from the world. In one particular year of his confinement, he only read the Bible. He even read books on History, Philosophy and Languages. So, we know that he had successfully completed his 15 years of Confinement.

Note: On the last day of Confinement, the Banker decided to kill the Lawyer, as he was afraid to become bankrupt.
