There are many threats to biodiversity which include climate change, pollution, habitat change, extinction of species, deforestation, global warming and greenhouse effect, over exploitation of the resources by the humans, decrease in the capacity of agricultural areas, leisure and tourism. 4) Leisure and tourism: The growth of the tourism industry is also a biggest threat to biodiversity. Though these things are helpful tools in building the best economy for the country. But on the other hand, the mass tourism industry exploiting the beautiful flora and fauna leading to the extortion of natural species on the earth.
Note:Species often become threatened or disappear when all this factor combines. The fragmentation of habitat leads to the decrease in the size of the population of natural species. Human interaction with biodiversity is the most important factor for the awful condition of biological diversity.
