According to the question,
CASE 1: Ajit bought 3 shirts for Rs. 1500. Aman got 2 shirts of the same type for Rs. 1186.
Ajit bought 3 shirts for Rs. 1500
Hence, the price of one shirt bought by Ajit is
$ \Rightarrow {P_{Ajit}} = \dfrac{{1500}}{3}$
On simplifying the RHS, we get
$ \Rightarrow {P_{Ajit}} = 500$
Aman got 2 shirts for Rs. 1186
Hence, the price of one shirt bought by Aman is
$ \Rightarrow {P_{Aman}} = \dfrac{{1186}}{2}$
On simplifying the RHS, we get
$ \Rightarrow {P_{Aman}} = 593$
On comparing ${P_{Ajit}} = 500$ and ${P_{Aman}} = 593$ , we get
$ \Rightarrow {P_{Ajit}} < {P_{Aman}}$
