Hint:We have known since the start that pollution means degradation or adulteration of the environment due to introducing harmful substances which causes an adverse effect, mostly poisonous as such which affects for a long term and is very deadly to the environment.
Complete step by step answer:
We know that, mostly when fossil fuels are burned, it turns into consumable energy, and the gasses which are released into the air by burning, in turn causes a harmful effect in air and water causing pollution. Gases are released by the burning and combustion of fossil fuels which include carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, sulfur oxides and hydrocarbons.
But It does not cause any sort of sound pollution. Sound pollution is mainly caused by the traffic horns, air traffic noise, the night life, animals etc.
So we can conclude that, Option (c). Sound pollution is the correct answer.
Additional knowledge -
As we know that fossil fuel causes a lot of pollution and gives drastic effects to the environment, biodiesel is just one of the alternatives which can be used as fuel that can prevent air pollution in earth's atmosphere. We can also prevent air pollution by using less gasoline and instead of riding in a car and enjoying air conditioners , one might choose to walk, ride a bicycle or use public transportation, which will help us a lot.
Note:
Noise or sound pollution may be defined as any disturbing or unwanted noise which interferes or harms humans or wildlife in any sort. Although noise constantly surrounds us, noise pollution generally still receives very less attention as when compared with water quality and air quality issues because it cannot be seen, tasted, or smelled.
