>Minamata disease: It is also referred to as Chisso-Minamata disease. It is a neurological disorder caused due to excessive mercury poisoning. Patients with this disease show ataxia, muscle weakness, numbness in the hands and feet, lowered vision, blurred speech, damages hearing, etc.
