Hint: In this question, we are given a map containing different roads and we have to tell which pair of roads from the following has the biggest angle between them.
So, we will compare the angle between the roads with ${90^o}$ , whether it is greater than, smaller than,or equal to ${90^o}$ , and according to that, we will compare these angles.
Complete answer:
Given the map of different roads.
To tell out of the given pair of roads, which pair has the biggest angle between them.
First take the pair, Janpath, and Rajpath, which has the angle of ${90^o}$ between them.
And, if we take the pair of the roads, Ashoka Road and Man Singh Road. The angle between these roads is greater than the angle between Janpath and Rajpath i.e., ${90^o}$ .
Whereas, if we take the pair of roads, Man Singh Road and Shah Jahan Road. The angle between these roads is less than the angle between Janpath and Rajpath i.e., ${90^o}$ .
Hence, if we arrange these roads in increasing order of their angles, we get, Man Singh Road and Shah Jahan Road has the smallest angle, then, we have Janpath and Rajpath and finally, Ashoka Road and Man Singh Road.
Therefore, Ashoka Road and Man Singh Road has the biggest angle between them.
Note:
We know, ${90^o}$ angle is known as the right angle, whereas the angle greater than ${90^o}$ is called obtuse angle and the angle smaller than ${90^o}$ is called an acute angle.
First, mark the angle which we have to measure, as, in most of the cases, it is clear only by looking at them, which angle is greater or smaller.
Another way to get the biggest angle between the roads is to measure the angles using a protector, but that’s only possible if you have that question on paper in front of you.
