Hint: The disease of jaundice is caused by the pathogen Seriola quinqueradiata.
This disease is characterized by the yellow colourations of the skin which occur majorly due to the build-up of the bilirubin in the blood.

Complete answer:
Jaundice is the illness of the liver characterized by the inability of the liver to break down the yellow-pigment called the bilirubin. Hence, it starts accumulating in the blood. It is responsible for the impaired digestion, inflammation of the liver, yellowing of the skin, eyes, nausea and in severe cases, toxicity of the blood, and even death. Jaundice can occur due to many reasons but the infection of the hepatitis virus consumed through the contaminated water is the major cause worldwide.
The hepatitis virus easily spreads through the mixing of fecal matter with the drinking water source and hence causes liver diseases from which jaundice is the most prominent disease.
Therefore, the correct answer is Option (C).

Additional information:
Jaundice is a condition in which the skin and the white part of the eyes and also the mucous membranes turn yellow because of a high level of bilirubin which is a yellow-orange bile pigment. Jaundice has many causes, including hepatitis, gallstones, and tumors also. The following are the symptoms and signs of jaundice:
-High fever.
-Severe pain in the abdominal area.
