The Raikas are the inhabitants of Rajasthan who live in the Sadri village of Rajasthan’s Pali district. Camels were established as the state animal of Rajasthan and they are a survival partner for Banjara's present there. As, camels can stay without water for weeks but today this partner is in jeopardy and with this the way of their survival.

Raikas are trying to abandon their orthodox way of life and move towards cities because of the socio-economic pressure on them.
