Hint: Denaturation refers to the breaking of peptide bonds between amino acids of the protein. Insulin is used to treat high blood sugar. Ovalbumin is a transparent protein which becomes white on heating. Thrombin is an enzyme which converts the enzyme fibrinogen into fibrin which forms a fabric like mesh to block blood from flowing out of a wound.

Proteins are polymers of amino acids. There are 20 types of amino acids occurring commonly in protein. The amino acids in proteins are linked together by peptide bonds. Protein on the basis of arrangements of amino acids can be classified as primary structures, Secondary structures, tertiary structures and quaternary structures. Each protein has an optimum temperature range at which it can perform its function. At a very high temperature, peptide bonds present between amino acid breaks causing protein to be inactive. A denatured protein cannot perform the function for which it was designated to it.
The blood sugar level in humans is controlled by two hormones, namely insulin and glucagon. Both the hormones are made up of proteins. Glucagon tends to increase blood sugar level that is why it is a hyperglycemic hormone. On the other hand insulin tends to decrease blood sugar level and so it is a hypoglycemic hormone. So blood sugar level is jointly regulated by glucagon and insulin.
Ovalbumin is the main constituent of the egg's white. It is proteinaceous in nature. It acts as reserve food material for the developing embryo in the egg. It also provides immunization to the embryo. The developing embryo feeds on this ovalbumin till the egg hatches.
As we can see the blood coming out from a cut or an injury soon stops, it is due to the clotting of blood. The platelets present in the blood play an important role in blood clotting, several factors also required. Prothrombin and fibrinogen get converted into thrombin and fibrin respectively in order to make a clot at the site of injury.
