Hint: 1. Rabi crops require a warm climate for seed germination.
2. However rabi crops require a cold climate to grow.
3. The Rabi crops generally grow in the springtime hence the Arabic translation of "Rabi" means spring.

Complete answer:
The major crops of India are of two types- kharif and rabi crops. The Rabi season usually starts in November and lasts up to March or April. Rabi crops are mainly cultivated using irrigation since monsoons are already over by November. In fact, unseasonal showers in November or December can ruin the crops. The seeds are sown at the start of autumn, which ends in a spring harvest. Some of the major rabi crops of India include wheat, gram, oat, barley, potato, and seeds like mustard, linseed, sunflower, coriander, cumin, etc.
The major difference between kharif crops and rabi crops are:-
Kharif crops are the crops which are sown at the start of the season, e.g. between April and should whereas Rabi crops are the crops sown at the top of monsoon or at the start of winter season, e.g. between September and October. Kharif crops are referred to as monsoon crops however, Rabi crops are referred to as winter or spring crops.
A. Wheat isn't the proper option because it is a rabi crop and requires a temperature of 10-15 degree celsius.
B. Gram isn't the proper option because it requires a mild cool temperature.
C. Jute is the correct option because it is not a rabi crop and it is a crop of hot and humid climate and requires warm temperature varying from 24-35 degrees celsius.
D. Linseed is not the correct option because it is a rabi crop and need a temperature of 15 to 20 degree celsius

Hence the correct answer is option C.

Note: 1. The rabi crops are grown either with rainwater that has percolated into the bottom, or with irrigation.
2. A good rain in winter spoils the rabi crop but is effective for kharif crops.
3. India is the second-largest producer of wheat in the world.
