Hint: Funaria is also known as bone fire moss or common cord moss that grows on moist, shady, and damp soil. Therefore, it is a type of water moss, usually found on moist walls and on the rocks where recent fires take place i.e. crevices of rocks. It is green, soft, and upright, about half an inch tall.

Complete answer:
Mosses are a phylum of nonvascular plants. Spores are produced instead of seeds for production and they don't grow flowers, woods, or true roots.
- Rhizoids are the unique characteristics of all the species of moss. They do not have roots. It comes within a division of plants known as Bryophyta.
Funaria comes under the genus of approximately 200 species of moss. Funaria hygrometrica is the most common species among the other species.
- Cord Moss is known as the species of Funaria. In radial symmetry, its height is from 3 to 5 cm and leaves are countless and multicellular.
Funaria plants make their own food. Therefore, they are autotrophic plants. They usually grow under shade India, branching the results with oblique scepters.
- No vascular system is present in these plants. Water moss usually grows on moist shady and damp soil.

So, the correct answer is, ”Funaria”.

Additional information:
Riccia belongs to the genus of liverworts in the order Marchantiales. They are small and generally not differentiated into root, stem, and leaf.
Anthoceros belongs to the genus of hornworts in the family Anthocerotaceae. It is distributed worldwide and the meaning of its name is flower horn which means they have horn-shaped sporophytes produced by all the hornworts.
Pellia: belongs to the genus of liverworts, found in cool and temperate regions of the northern hemisphere.

Note:
Funaria hygrometrica is very easy to find and identify because of its attractive red-brown spore-bearing part of the plant known as a sporophyte consisting of long twisting stalks known as Seta. Having an asymmetrical grooved capsule at the tip.
Funaria hygrometrica is found all over the world and sometimes referred to as weed. Therefore not easily threatened.
