Hint: Communicable disease can be spread from one person to another by the viruses or bacteria which spread through contact. The examples are hepatitis A, b, HIV, etc.

Complete answer:
First of all, you should know what communicable disease is. Communicable disease is referred to as transmissible as it is any disease which can pass from one person to another and cause a large number of people to get sick. It is caused by viruses or bacteria that people spread through contact with infected people. For example, common cold which can spread by sneezing in public without covering the mouth and likewise chicken pox spreads through the fluid from the blisters.
If we look at options now, option A is Diabetes. It is that disease which results in high blood sugar level i.e., high glucose level in the blood and it is a chronic condition which is caused by absence of insufficient production of insulin. This disease cannot be spread from one person to another but in the question communicable disease is asked due to which this option is incorrect and it gets eliminated.
Moving to option B i.e., Common Cold. Common cold is a viral infection which can be easily spread from one person to another by sneezing in the public without covering the mouth. This is harmless and most people recover on their own within two weeks. This disease can be spread from one person to another due to which this option becomes correct.
Moving to option C i.e., Diphtheria. It is a serious infection which involves infection of nose and throat and it leads to difficulty in breathing, heart failure, paralysis and even death. This disease cannot be spread from one person to another but in the question communicable disease is asked due to which this option is incorrect and it gets eliminated.
Last option D is Kwashiorkor. This disease is caused when there is insufficient intake of protein but sufficient intake of calories. This disease cannot be spread from one person to another but in the question communicable disease is asked due to which this option is incorrect and it gets eliminated.

Thus, the correct answer is option B i.e., Common cold.

Note: From all the given options, diabetes, diphtheria and kwashiorkor are non-communicable diseases which do not spread from one person to another. But common cold is a communicable disease which can be spread due to which this option is the correct one.
