Option A) Pandoh – It is an embankment dam which is built on the Beas river. This Dam was completed in 1977. Hydroelectric Power generation is the main purpose of this dam. It diverts water from Beas to the southwest through tunnels and channels.

Option B) Pong – This is the correct option because it is also known as Beas Dam, It is on the Beas River in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. The purpose related to this dam is water storage for irrigation and hydroelectric power generation. When this dam was completed, it was the tallest of its type in India. Hence, it is the correct option.

Option C) Bhakra Nangal Dam – This is not the correct option because This dam is built on the Sutlej river in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh. Bhakra Nangal Dam forms the Gobind Sagar reservoir. It is the third-largest reservoir in India in terms of the quantity of water.
