Hint: Ozone is a gas that can be produced naturally as well as artificially. Naturally, it is formed in the upper layer of the atmosphere of our planet (from oxygen). It protects us from most of the sun’s harmful ultraviolet radiation (UV) radiations. In the lower atmosphere, ozone can be produced as a result of human activities and this form is toxic for our health.

Complete step by step answer:
Before going into the constituents of each layer of atmosphere, we need to know the different layers of atmosphere. Earth’s atmosphere is divided into five layers, namely troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere, ionosphere and exosphere, on the basis of their temperatures. The five layers have their distinct traits.
Troposphere- This layer begins at the Earth's surface and extends upto 8 to 14.5 kilometers high. This is the densest region of the atmosphere.
Stratosphere- This layer lies just above the troposphere. It extends to 50 kilometers (31 miles) high. The ozone layer, which has the ability to absorb and scatter the solar UV radiation, is present in this layer.
Mesosphere- This layer lies above the stratosphere. It extends to 85 kilometers (53 miles) high. This layer consists of Meteors .
Thermosphere- This layer starts just above the mesosphere and extends to 600 kilometers (372 miles) high. Aurora and satellites can be found in this layer.
Ionosphere- This layer consists of electrons and ionized atoms, molecules. It stretches from about 48 kilometers (30 miles) above the surface to the edge of space at about 965 kilometers. It overlaps into the mesosphere and thermosphere. Radio communication has become possible because of this region.
Exosphere- This is the upper most limit of our atmosphere. It extends from the top of the thermosphere up to 10,000 kilometer

So, the correct option is C.

Note:
Ozone is extremely harmful for our health, especially for our respiratory system. It can damage our lungs, and cause death in severe cases. Even an exposure for a short period of time can lead to shortness of breath by reducing lung function.
