Hint: Our solar system consists of the Sun in the center, the eight planets orbiting around the sun, the dwarf planets, meteorite, asteroid, comets and dozens of moons. The size of the planet is independent of its position from the sun. We can see the picture of the solar system and figure out the positions and the size of the planets. And which planet is second biggest.

Complete answer:
Solar system is a system in which heavenly bodies are bound by the gravitational force. Our solar system is also bounded by the gravitational pull of the sun as the sun is in the center and eight planets revolve around it in their fixed orbit. There are also other celestial bodies which revolve around the sun but not in a fixed orbit. Also there are moons which revolve around the planets. The planets can have one or more than one moon. The planets in chronological order as per the distance from the sun are: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. The picture of the solar system is given below:

We can see from the above picture that Saturn is the second largest planet whereas Jupiter is the largest and Uranus is the third largest planet. The size of the planet is determined by the size of its equator.

Hence the correct option is B.

Note:
As we can see the Saturn has rings around it which consists of dust particles and the moons due to these rings, one can assume it to be the largest planet but that’s not the case. Few years back Pluto was also considered as one of the main planets and including it there were nine planets but later it was figured out that it was a dwarf planet and now there are just eight planets.
