Hint: To solve this problem we must be aware about the composition of all glasses only then we can find out the percentage of lead. Once we know it’s composition it would be easy to find out the percentage of lead.

Complete step by step solution:

Let’s learn about each glass and know about it’s composition.

Soda glass: This glass is a mixture of sodium silicate and calcium silicate.Soda glass is brittle and the cheapest and most commonly existing glasses. This can be broken very conveniently therefore it is called soft glass and by the alternation of temperature it could be cracked.

Flint glass: Flint glass has composition of \[{K_2}O \cdot PbO \cdot 6Si{O_2}\]. Flint glass contains lead oxide. It has a very high refractive index.

Jena glass: This glass is a combination of zinc and barium borosilicates.

Pyrex glass: This is the mixture of zinc, barium silicate and alumina silicate. Borosilicate Pyrex is composed of boron, oxygen, sodium, aluminum, silicon and potassium. So there is no lead in pyrex glass.

As we can see that soda glass, jena glass and pyrex glass do not have lead, only flint glass have lead so flint glass has the highest percentage of lead.

Note: Once we are aware of composition of all glasses given in the problem we got to know that only flint glasses has lead so we don’t need to find out percentage of lead in each glass this problem becomes more easy as we don’t need to calculate percentage and we get our answer which is that flint glass has the highest percentage of lead.
