Hint: Blood comprises red blood cells and white blood cells, platelets, blood vessels, buffers and blood are formed inside bone marrow, lymph nodes, spleen and all the proteins involved in bleeding and clotting factors. Blood vessels which carry deoxygenated blood from other parts of the body to the heart are called veins. Veins carry carbon dioxide in the blood but pulmonary veins carry oxygenated blood from the lungs to the heart.
Complete answer:
White blood cells are the cells which provides immunity to the body via blood. The organelles which are present in eukaryotes, leukocytes have the same organelles present. Organelles like- mitochondria, Golgi apparatus, lysozyme, vesicles, centrioles.
1. Ribosomes are structures which are composed of ribonucleic acid and proteins and are not surrounded by any membrane. Ribosome’s function possess protein synthesis as polypeptides are developed from the surface of ribosomal membrane. Hence, they are called the protein factory of the cell.
2. Mitochondria are the powerhouse of the cell, as it performs all important functions. It provides abundant energy required for the cell to grow and also in cell repair. It provides energy to sperm also for motility.
3. The endoplasmic reticulum is also a cell organelle. It is present in eukaryotic cells only. It has two types- SER and RER. SER is for smooth endoplasmic reticulum and RER is for rough endoplasmic reticulum.
4. Golgi bodies are stained structures near the nucleus. Golgi have flat, disc-shaped sacs. They are stacked parallel to each other.
Note:
White blood cells have bone marrow and lymph tissue. White blood cells have neutrophils and B and T cells. They provide immunity and prevent infection. Treatments like-chemotherapy and radiation can destroy white blood cells. Stress decreases the WBC. WBC are advised to count in durations so that a person cannot lose the count.
