Hint: These are considered as the lightest elements in the periodic table. They exist as gases at room temperature and are the two most very common elements in the universe. Both of these gases have about different hazards, while similar chemical properties. As both are gases, ventilating an enclosed space where they have been released is considered essential before people are allowed to enter, unless they are wearing appropriate protective equipment.

Complete answer:

The sun is composed of layers that are made up almost entirely of hydrogen and helium. These gases carry out several functions in each layer, and the layers of the Sun are measured by their percentage of the sun's total radius.

Basically, the Sun is described as a big ball which is composed of gas and plasma. The primary gases are hydrogen or helium, but at the same time there are also present amounts of other elements such as oxygen, carbon, nitrogen, magnesium and iron. Helium's discovery was done by observing the spectrum of the Sun. Afterwards, it was found on the planet Earth. The Sun is made of 92.1% of hydrogen and 7.9% of Helium whereas other elements are less than 0.1%. Hydrogen is converted into the energy in the core of the sun.

Thus, Option A is the correct answer.

Note: Like any star in its prime, the sun also consists mainly of hydrogen atoms fusing two by two into helium, that unleashes immense and strong energies in the process. Whereas it's the sun's small concentration of heavier elements, that astronomers refer to as metals, which controls its fate.
