Hint: Atomicity is defined as the total number of atoms present in a molecule. For example in water molecule $({H_2}O)$ there are 2 atoms of hydrogen ( H ) and one atom of oxygen ( O ) so the atomicity of water molecule $({H_2}O)$ is 2 + 1 = 3 .

Complete answer:
Let us take one more example for better understanding of atomicity.
Take Oxygen ( ${O_2}$ ) molecule, in Oxygen (${O_2}$) there are 2 atoms of oxygen ( O ) so atomicity of oxygen molecule (${O_2}$) is 1 + 1 = 2 .
Let us now take example of Carbon dioxide molecule ($C{O_2}$) , in Carbon dioxide ($C{O_2}$) there is one atom of carbon ( C ) and two atoms of oxygen ( O ) So atomicity of Carbon dioxide molecule ( $C{O_2}$) will be 2 + 1 = 3 .
Now in given we are required to find out atomicity of Ethane ${C_2}{H_6}$ molecule, as in this molecule of ethane there are 2 atoms of carbon and 6 atoms of hydrogen ,
Therefore, Atomicity of Ethane ${C_2}{H_6}$ = 2 + 6 = 8

So the answer to this question is 8 that is atomicity of ethane ${C_2}{H_6}$.

Note: For finding atomicity we should know the correct molecular formula of the molecule because it depends on the number of atoms in a molecule. If the formula is wrong then atomicity will automatically have a wrong value.
