Without the moon, every day on earth would only last six to 12 hours. There could be quite a thousand days in one year! That is because the world rotation slows down over time due to the gravity – or pull of the moon - and without it, days would pass during a blink. The moon also affects the angle of the Earth's tilt. The moon influences life and as we all know it on Earth. So, it influences our oceans, weather, then the hours in our days.

Without the moon, tides would fall, nights would be darker, seasons would change, then the length of our days would alter. The brightest and largest object in our night sky in order that the Moon makes Earth a more livable planet by moderating their home planet wobble on its axis, leading to a relatively stable climate. It also causes tides, creating a rhythm that has guided humans for thousands of years.

Note:A moonless earth would also change the size of ocean tides - making them about one-third as high as they now. Without a moon, the lean of our earth axis would vary over time. This might create some very wild weather. Right now, due to our moon, our axis stays tilted at twenty- three-point five degrees.
