Hint: Dictyosomes are also known as golgi apparatus. Its main function is secretion and processing of proteins. It originates from the endoplasmic reticulum.

Complete step by step answer:
Dictyosome is an organelle found in the cytoplasm of the eukaryotic cell. It is also known as golgi apparatus. It was discovered by Camillo Golgi. These are a series of compartments composed of flattened membrane enclosed discs known as cisternae. These clusters originate from the vesicular cluster. The cisternae are arranged in two fashion- cis and trans. Cis golgi is the first cisternal structure followed by the trans golgi from which proteins are sorted and packed into vesicles. These vesicles further go to lysosomes, other secretory vesicles or the cell surface. These compartments of golgi help in separating enzymes and selective processing.
The golgi apparatus are larger and numerous in the cells which have synthesising and secretion function like plasma B-cells. The golgi apparatus of plant cells differ from those of the animal cells.
Function of golgi apparatus-
1. It packages protein into membrane bound vesicles inside the vesicles before it is sent to the destination. The cargo proteins are modified and sent to their destination through exocytosis.
2. It is responsible for processing proteins for secretion of glycosylation enzymes.
3. The lysosomal pathway takes place inside golgi.
4. Golgi apparatus also transports lipids.

Note:
The dictyosome or golgi functions similar to the post office. It packs the enzymes, macromolecules or proteins, sort them and send to different parts of the cell and even extracellular spaces.
