Cerebral reflexes are those which involve the brain. They occur in the organs which are present in the head as these organs are directly connected to the brain. For example, closing of eyes when exposed to bright light is an example of cerebral reflex action. The corneal reflex also known as the blink reflex. It's an involuntary blinking of the eyelids elicited by stimulation of the cornea of the eye (such as by touching or by an external foreign body). Stimulation should be elicit, both the direct and the consensual response (response of the opposite eye). This reflex occurs at a rapid rate of \[0.1\] seconds mostly. This reflex results in the protection of the eyes from the foreign bodies and bright lights (the latter known as the optical reflex).
