Internal disturbance in the Earth is one of the common causes giving rise to volcanic eruptions which leads to a change in the pressure and forces the molten rock to explode into the air.
Movement of the tectonic plates is another significant cause as when these plates are pushed the magma, sediment and seawater are overflown leading to spewing of lava and volcanic eruption. This eruption produces lava which is sticky and thick at temperatures ranging from 800 to 1000 degree Celsius.
Glacial melting is also regarded as a prominent factor of eruption.
