Hint: In order to solve this question we will know about the planets of our solar system and their respective circumferences and then compare and tell which will be the largest and smallest planet respectively.

Complete answer:
Mercury: The Mercury is the smallest and fastest planet, Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun and orbits around it every 88 Earth days. At daytime temperature in Mercury is too high but at night it lowers down. Its circumference is nearly 9,522 miles, and its area totals 28,873,225 square miles, making it the smallest planet of the solar system.

Venus: Venus spins in the opposite direction to most planets, Venus is the hottest and one among the brightest objects within the sky. Temperatures remain the same on Venus regardless of day or night. Venus has a circumference of 23,617 miles and an area of 177,628,840 square miles.

Earth: Earth is the planet which we call home, Earth is the third rock from the sun and the only planet with known life on it. Its circumference is little greater than that of Venus at 24,889 miles

Mars: Mars is a dusty red planet, cold world with a thin atmosphere. Mars Having circumference of 13,256 miles and an area of 55,963,741 square miles, is the second smallest planet in our solar system.

Jupiter: Jupiter is a massive planet, twice the dimension of all other planets combined and features a centuries-old storm that is bigger than Earth. Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system with a circumference of 278,985 miles and an area of 24,787,374,965 square miles.

Saturn: Saturn is the most recognizable planet with a system of icy rings, Saturn is a very unique and interesting planet. Saturn is the second largest gas giant at 235,185 miles in circumference and 17,615,265,865 square miles in area, Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun.

Uranus: Uranus features a very unique rotation, it spins on its side at an almost 90-degree angle, unlike other planets. Uranus is the seventh planet from the sun, another gas giant measuring 99,739 miles in circumference and 3,168,132,663 square miles in area.

Neptune: Neptune is the most distant planet and is a cold and dark nearly 3 billion miles from the Sun. Neptune is nearly three million miles from the sun measuring 96,645 miles in circumference and 2,974,591,827 square feet in area.

Note: The circumference of Pluto is 4,627 miles (7,445 km). Pluto is not considered as a planet because Pluto is a relatively round body, and also orbits the sun, but it crosses Neptune’s orbit. Being so small that it cannot clear its path and also has a very busy neighbourhood, thereby violates the definition of a planet.
