Hint: In the solar system all the 8 planets have their specific characteristics like earth is the only planet which is having life on it. So, we should know some specific characteristics of the planets in the solar system to answer this question.
Complete answer:
So now we will discuss the characteristics of the given names of the planets in the option.
In option (A) Uranus is given. Uranus is an ice giant, its 80% of mas is a fluid mix of water, methane and ammonia ice. Uranus is tilted (unlike other planets) that’s why it orbits the sun on its side, with its axis of spin approximately pointing at the sun. This planet is green-blue colour due to the absorption of the red light by the methane gas.
In option (B) Jupiter is given. Jupiter is a gas giant planet and its atmosphere is mainly made up of hydrogen gas and helium gas, like the sun. It has thick red, brown, yellow, and white clouds and this cloud makes the planet look like it has stripes.
In option (C) Neptune is given. Neptune is having six circles around itself. Like Uranus it is also an ice-giant. Made up of thick soup of water, ammonia, and flowing over a solid core about the size of the earth. The colour of this planet is blue.
In option (D) Saturn is given. Saturn is a gas giant which is mostly made up of hydrogen and helium. The ringed planet is the least dense of all the planets, and is the only one less dense than the water. It has also rung like Neptune but less in number and got a number of satellites. The NASA Hubble space telescope has provided the images of Saturn in many colours from black-and-white, to orange, to blue, green, and red but by close observation and researches scientists have found that the colour of the planet Saturn is yellowish.
So, the correct answer is “Option D”.
Note:
although for now we know that there are 8 number of planets in our solar system. But before 2006 there were 9 planets in our solar system. Since 2006 the Pluto has been discarded as a planet as per the criteria of the planet in the international astronomical union’s planetary criteria. How ere it does meet the criteria for the dwarf planet.
