Water is the natural resource which has been on the Earth for a longer period of time in fact some of which is from the time when Dinosaurs were around us. Though there is a lot of water around us, almost 1 octillion liters we humans have access to only 0.3% of water which we can consume. As progress in our society these big industries and commercialization has drilled down and other than that lack of awareness has led to water pollution. Water pollution is basically the containment of the water bodies which makes it very harmful for the use of humans.

Effects of water pollution:
1. As we see around water bodies in The urban area is extremely polluted that is because the industrial garbage and chemical is sumped in it which makes it very harmful for humans as it affects us in several ways.
2. Water pollution also affects marine life as it would affect their metabolism, behavior can cause illness and even death. The chemical which is there in the water would eventually travel up in the food chain and would travel to the human body as well.
3. We humans are also impacted by the pollution as it would give us diseases like hepatitis which would come through several water sources.
4. Water pollution has drastically affected the ecosystem.
